My most recent 101 accomplishment was to throw a killer bridal shower/bachelorette party for one of my favorite people in the world, Jordan. I had planned on throwing the most Pinterest-worthy shower, out at Indian Creek Village Winery in Ringwood, OK. Unfortunately, and to avoid reopening any wounds, I'll just say my plan to throw the perfect bridal shower crashed and burned. At least, to an extent. I made white chocolate covered rice crispy treats that ended up looking too inappropriate for a PG-rated wedding shower (how does that even happen?), lost my debit card, which I only realized after having a cart full of groceries, and got lost on my way to the bridal shower... which I was supposed to be throwing. Luckily, her mom was the BIGGEST help and turned it from crash to class. By the time I got there, the place was already looking amazing.
Determined to make a grand maid-of-honor come back, I planned the best bachelorette party that I could. Step one for the perfect bachelorette: the perfect location- Branson, Mo. Jordan has ALWAYS loved Branson, so really, that was an easy choice. Step two: lodging- Jordan's mom scored us an AWESOME cabin. (Thank you, Kenda!) Step three: plan all the activities.
Ariel and I rode together, and arrived a little early to do some decorating. Once the bride-to-be and all of her guests arrived, we went for a quick supper, and had a nice night in with Cards Against Humanity, gift giving, dancing and drinks!
Then we went to dinner at Devil's Pool Restaurant, a nice restaurant with a gorgeous view! After ordering drinks, we had went on the patio to enjoy the view and take a few photos. We ordered delicious dinners, and hung out for a bit. After a while, we were all ready to go, however the waitress kept avoiding giving us our checks. We waited and waited, and after she finished clearing the table, we finally asked for the check. She then informed us that the couple eating right next to us had paid for our meals. All of them. Food, drinks, everything. After giving them the biggest THANK YOU we could, we went back to the cabin for a nice night in.
On our final morning, we packed up the cabin, and went to do an escape room, similar to the one Jordan and I did in my previous post! This one was called the Cryptex, and, again, we made it out with time to spare! After we finished, the owners even gave Jordan a celebratory cake!
